Halogen Bulb Warnings
- Lighted Bulb is hot. To avoid risks of burns or injury, be certain that the power is off and the bulb is fully cooled before replacing.
- Halogen bulbs operate under pressure and may shatter- protective lens must be in place at all times.
- Use bulb only in fixtures specifying this wattage; failure to do so could cause a fire.
- Never touch the bulb with bare hands. The contaminated bulb will have reduced life and may shatter at high temperatures. Use clean gloves or cloth to hold the bulb during installation.
- If the bulb is touched, clean with denatured alcohol.
- Operate in horizontal position only.
- Mechanical shock may cause bulb to fail.
- Temperature of electrical contacts should not exceed 600 degrees fahrenheit.
